Plywood tank
Re: Plywood tank
Wagner Albrecht a member of Capital Cichlid Association just built one. I had one 30 years ago that I got from a friend that was unloading it. It was built with three "compartments" with a glass on the front of each compartment. It didn't have epoxy on the inside, which is the only way I would build one today. It was painted with swimming pool paint. It leaked once and I drained it and smeared silicone on the inside and it held water again. Really and truly till you buy the plywood materials and epoxy. I believe you will have the ssame amount or close to what a glass tank will cost you. IMHO.
